12th-place finish with ASCS at Batesville Motor Speedway
Landon Britt returned to action over the weekend at Batesville Motor Speedway, where the Arkansas oval hosted the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS).
Shaking off some early rust during hot laps and time trials, Britt gained one position in his heat race to finish seventh. He found his rhythm as the night went on, charging forward seven spots in the 25-lap feature to earn a 12th-place finish.
Britt overcame early adversity after a rock became lodged beneath the gas pedal in the cockpit, but he regrouped and mounted a strong late-race push, nearly breaking into the top 10.
