Top-10 finish in Sprint Car Showdown at Benton

Just one week after claiming his first win of the season, Landon Britt returned to action with the American Sprint Car Series on Friday night at Kentucky’s Windy Hollow Speedway.

A sixth-place finish in his heat race placed Britt deep in the field for the 25-lap feature, where he advanced three positions to finish 14th.

The weekend continued Saturday with the Sprint Car Showdown at Benton Speedway in Missouri. Britt opened the night with a strong heat race win, but a miscue in the dash ended his run early. Regrouping for the feature, he battled to a 10th-place finish in the 30-lapper.
